A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing along Highway 20 near Montreal on Saturday, resulting in multiple injuries and the closure of the busy roadway.
According to a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, the plane’s engine stalled after it took off from the St. Mathieu de Beloeil airport, which is perpendicular to the highway.
Two men were seriously injured in the crash.
One of the two passengers was ejected from the Grumman AA1C airplane on impact.
